Also check out the Brisket at Smoke Point in San Juan Bautista. They do a lot of things well. Sides are great. Even the burger is great. The guy who crated smoke point also created a Michellin star place in Mountain View. It's pretty exceptional.

At "T&A Cafe, Home Of Kleinfeld Family BBQ", in Spreckles, they serve up Prime Tri Tip BBQ. I'm not a fan of Tri Tip, but I like theirs better than most CA BBQ place's brisket. It's literally a cafe on the property of the big Ag company T&A, but it's open to the public.

But the scrambled eggs aren’t tender chunks. Eggs are like paper scraps. Too thin. Improper way to cook the eggs. Plus needs a handful of shredded cheese.

Looks good. I lived in San Jose many years, and I know a good chunk of it like the back of my hand. I kind of have a bias towards Kirk's being the best burgers. But I would check this place out. SJ actually has a lot of great places to eat. As far as dangerous, I know east side has a reputation, but after living in Oakland for the last 8 years, I have seen way worse than that area. There is a good burger joint in east Oakland called Hegen Burger, which is right on Hegenberger Rd by the airport. I used to love to go there, but the neighborhood just got way too dangerous to bother with it, even during the day. No burger is THAT good.

Driving around King and Story is the dangerous part, many drivers don't have car insurance. I avoid the area because the drivers.
